Spirit of MusicHistory
Every concert is a journey
Every note is a story
Musical performance as an art of dialogue with time
The “Spirit Of Music” art project was born in December 2019 after the first concert-performance “Spirit Of Barocco”, which took place at the Museum of Western and Eastern Art in Odessa. From the very beginning, it became clear: our project has its own creative identity, which distinguishes it from others - a unique approach to presenting music, combining stagecraft, deep meaning, and innovative interpretation.
We create interactive costumed performances that destroy traditional ideas about academic music, opening it up with new means of expression. Since 2019, the team has implemented many concert programs in the formats of performances, plays, music lectures, and multimedia shows.
We are not limited to performing music - each of our concerts turns into a full-fledged artistic event, in which the concept, images, and educational aspect play an important role. We talk about the works that sound from the stage, because we are convinced that knowledge of the historical and cultural context allows the listener to experience music more deeply. A special place in our programs is occupied by little-known composers, the search for rare notes, our transcriptions, as well as the integration of modern music, jazz, and musicals into the classical structure of the concert.
After the start of the full-scale invasion, the activities of “Spirit Of Music” went beyond the borders of the city and the country. We held online concerts, participated in international cultural initiatives, are actively promoting Ukrainian music abroad, and are working to modernize the format of the classical concert, make it more accessible and lively for a wide audience
